Sunflower State Games
The Sunflower State Games is a statewide amateur sports festival for all Kansans. The purpose of the Games is to provide top-quality amateur competition in a wide range of activities and promote physical fitness, personal health and well-being for Kansans of all ages and skill levels.
The Sunflower State Games is held annually over two weekends in July at more than 30 venues. More than 400 volunteers are involved in the Games.
Ultimate Frisbee Tournament
Ultimate Frisbee is a seven on seven field sport combining the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football. Games are self officiated.
The Spirit of the Game (see http://www.upa.org/spirit) places the responsibility of fair play and sportsmanship on the players. Players are assumed to respect the rules and not use them to their advantage. UPA 10th edition rules will be in effect. See http://www.upa.org/ultimate for information on ultimate and full rules.
All games will be to 13. 1 hour and 15 minutes time cap signaled by horn. Pool play will be followed by a modified elimination bracket.
Two Events:
- Mens's open (age 16+)
- Mixed (Co-Ed) 4 men: 3 women gender ratio (Age 16+)
